Who can sign up?
All Dan Heng ship enjoyers are welcome to join this event as long as they are 18+!How do I sign up?
The sign up period for this event will begin in Jan 2024, pending Interest Check results. Writers, Artists, Beta Readers, and Pinch Hitters may sign up through google forms that will be posted when the sign up period begins.Do I have to join a Discord server to participate?
Yes. All participant announcements and coordination will be handled over Discord. The link to the server will be available to anyone that completes the sign-up form.I'm a switch/top Dan Heng creator. Can I participate?
As long as you are willing to view and create bottom Dan Heng content for this event, you are welcome to join!What is the drop-out policy?
Life happens. Please contact the event staff ASAP if you need to drop out. The final deadline for dropouts is April 15th.

☽ PARTICIPANT EXPECTATIONS ☾

I'm a monoshipper. Do I have to make content for other Dan Heng ships?
No, matches will take monoshipping into account where relevant. Please be aware that you may encounter discussion of other Dan Heng ships within the event server.What is the expectation for artists in this event?
All artists must produce one full-color illustration (and are welcome to make more.) See more detailed requirements in the guideline document (linked at the top.)What is the minimum word count for writers in this event?
All writers participating in this mini-bang must produce a fic at least 5k words long. See more detailed requirements in the guideline document (linked at the top.)Can I write in languages other than English?
For the enjoyment of all bang participants, we ask that all works are written in English.Can I make a piece with more than one character x Dan Heng?
If you and your bang partner have discussed and are okay with doing so, go ahead! The more people banging Dan Heng the better.Can I make a piece with ships not centered around Dan Heng?
Other ships can appear in your work but the focus must be on a HSR Character x Dan Heng ship.

☽ ARTIST / WRITER / BETA MATCHING PROCESS ☾

What is a "match?"
A match is an artist / writer pair working together on the same pitch. Writers will have the option to request a bang-assigned beta as part of the sign-up process. For this event, participants will not have the ability to pre-select their match.How does the matching process work?
Writers will submit a pitch to the admins. All pitches will be anonymized. Artists (and betas) will read through all the pitches and select their top 3-5 choices. The admins will then pair people according to these choices. Each match will be given their own channel within the server to coordinate their work. We ask that you keep all bang-related discussion in that channel so mods can assist where necessary. Participants will have the opportunity to confidentially disclose anyone they do not wish to be paired with during the match process. This includes artist/writer pairings as well as betas.What if I (as a writer) submit a pitch and no artist chooses it?
Worry not, everyone WILL be matched. Some artists may be asked (or volunteer) to do multiple pieces. In the event of a drop-out, pinch hitters may be called upon. As a last resort, you may be asked to write a new pitch. Stay calm! It will all work out. Yes, as long as they keep your work private before the posting date.
